Advanced Car Hire is a premium affordable car rental service centrally based in Namibia's capital, Windhoek.
We are one of the largest car rental companies in Namibia, offering various different services ranging from top of the range, high quality, modern Toyota & Nissan double and single cab 4x4 rentals, camping equipment, excess options, and a variety of prime extras - all available to rent for adventures through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa (incl. Swaziland and Lesotho), Mozambique and Malawi.
Advanced Car Hire is led by a team of experts that has been positively formed and shaped through an array of experiences throughout the years in our specific industry.
Our set-up and facilities include not only a fleet of over 80 impeccable 4×4 vehicles but also a modern office space‚ a fully equipped workshop‚ a warehouse storing spare parts, tyres, and camping equipment, a car wash, and a tow-in service all centrally located.

Michael Meyer
CEO and owner, Michael established Advanced Car Hire in 2003 with the sole mission being to introduce people from all around the world to the wonders that Southern Africa has to offer in the most convenient and enjoyable way possible.
Carla Van der Merwe
Filling the essential role of Operations Manager at Advanced Car Hire, Carla is a communication and managerial specialist, using her unique skills to ensure maximum client engagement and satisfaction.
Our Team
We have a team of over 30 skilled and trained individuals specialising in different segments, all the way from tourist guides and call operators to mechanics and accountants. Our team and work culture abides by a number of work ethics in order to be as helpful and efficient as possible.
